Tres Cuervos Leatherworks: Leather Goods Authentically Hand Crafted in Santa Fe, New Mexico | Aaron Boyd

Leather Goods Authentically Hand Crafted in Santa Fe, New MexicoToday we are joined by Aaron Boyd of Tres Cuervos Leatherworks, a company that creates hand crafted practical goods using American leather, brass, and wood.

Aaron was first introduced to leatherwork in college by a friend who created leather-bound journals, but did not seriously begin crafting until 15 years later. A friend of his was in need for a leather journal cover and Aaron created one, remembering how much he had enjoyed it before. He then began creating phone cases for himself and friends, eventually leading to selling his hand crated goods.

Now, Tres Cuervos Leatherworks is in about 60 stores around the United States.

This week on Small Business War Stories, Aaron Boyd join us from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Three reasons to tune in this week:

  • Learn how Aaron found stores to sell his goods through a road trip.
  • Learn how Aaron created contacts throughout the industry that helped his products end up in more stores.
  • Hear about the power that stories and community have on business and sales.
