SBWS x SXSW: Helping Build Small Business | Bay McLaughlin

South by Southwest (SXSW) hosts conferences and festivals that celebrate the interactive, film, and music industries.  It takes place in Austin, Texas for two weeks during mid-March, hosting thousands of people from around the world.

For SXSW 2018, we will be interviewing small business leaders from around the world.

Today we interviewed Bay McLaughlin, the co-founder of Brinc, a company that helps founders build and launch connected hardware businesses.

Bay currently lives in Hong Kong, China and has lived in many places while working with tech companies and small businesses. While working with Apple, Bay helped build a new division where they assisted small businesses with everything from sales and service to education and training. Bay explains that his passion doesn’t come from tech, but rather a drive to aid people in following their passions as they take the first steps in building their businesses.

This week on Small Business War Stories, we are joined by Bay McLaughlin of Brinc.

Three reasons to tune in:

  • Learn how Apple began helping small businesses through the new division Bay worked with.
  • Learn how we believe tech and logistics could help solve some of today’s most prevalent issues.
  • Learn how business plans and mentors can help create a path to success.
