Steps to Creating a Glassdoor Account
There are 6 major steps you’ll need to take if you want to create an account and job posting on Glassdoor. This article will walk you through each one.
Step 1: Go to Glassdoor.com
The first step you’ll need to take to hire on Glassdoor is to use your web browser to navigate to www.Glassdoor.com. From here, you’ll want to click “post jobs for free” in the top right corner.

Step 2: Basic Information
Once you’ve clicked “Post Jobs for Free,” the next step is to enter your company’s basic information, including the company name, location, and your email address.
It’s important to enter your actual company information instead of things like “test company” or “test@gmail.com” since this information will be used for your actual job post.
Once you’ve entered the basic information, the next step is to click the “Start Free Trial Button.”

Step 3: Enter Your Job Details
The third step in the process is to enter your job details.
This includes your company name, job title, and the location of the job.
When you’re done, click the button that says “Next: Job Descriptions”

Step 4: The Job Description
The next step is the job description. You’ll want to spend some time on your job description since it can dramatically affect how many people apply.
Once you’ve entered the job description, you’ll need to choose how candidates can apply to your job.
If you are just looking to hire and view resumes in your email inbox, just select the recommended option.
However, if your company has a careers page or an applicant tracking system, you can select “Job Listing URL” option and enter the link to your page.
When you’re finished click the button “Next: Select Plan.”

Step 5: Select a Plan
Glassdoor offers several different ways to pay for your job post(s).
The first option is fairly simple. It is $199 for one 30-day posting with no recurring subscription charges. You pay for the ad, it goes live, and then it comes down.
The second two options are for subscriptions. The first subscription option costs $199/month and allows you to post up to three jobs at any time. The second subscription option is $599/month and allows you to have 10 jobs live at any one time.
In addition, both subscription options come with a one week (7 day) free trial.
Select the option that best suits your hiring needs and click the blue button to continue.

Step 6: Enter Contact Information
Once you’ve selected your plan, the next step is to enter your contact information.
When you’re done, click the button that says “Next: Payment.”

Step 7: Enter Billing Information
Now that you’ve entered your job description, contact information, and plan choice there is just one step left to go; entering your billing information.
Simply enter your valid credit card number and click the blue button that says “complete purchase.”

And You’re Done!
Congratulations, that’s it! You successfully set up an account on Glassdoor and posted your first job.
