DIY Pete: Inspiring Others Through Do-It-Yourself Projects

On this episode of Small Business War Stories, we are joined by Peter Sveen, founder of DIY Pete. His company creates content that helps others get inspired and learn to build projects.

In his personal life, Pete began receiving lots of questions from friends about how he built things and tips for DIY projects. This lead to Pete documenting tutorials, creating PDFs of plans, and making DIY videos.

DIY Pete now has over 215,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel and posts at least one project per month to his website.

This week on Small Business War Stories, Peter Sveen join us from Bozeman, Montana.

Three reasons to tune in this week:

  • Learn how Pete uses search trends to help him decide which projects to create.
  • Hear the way Pete uses positive and negative feedback to better himself and his projects.
  • Learn about how sponsorship works in the content space.

I drove with my puppy Muddy Waggers, my guitar, and my podcasting equipment with the goal of recording podcast episodes with small business owners throughout the heart of America.
